Just a few minutes’ walk from Porthminster Beach, Treloyhan Lodge enjoys sea views across St Ives Bay and has a heated swimming pool.
Immaculately decorated and centrally heated, the accommodation sleeps up to 8 people and is spread over three floors. Bed linen and towels are provided and there is parking space for up to four cars. Unlimited broadband and WiFi.

An enclosed granite porch with originial Victorian door opens on to the ground floor with kitchen, dining room and sitting room. Stairs from the sitting room lead to the Lower Ground Floor with two ensuite bedrooms which are on the same level as the swimming pool. Stairs from the dining room lead up to the first floor with a double bedroom, twin bedroom and family bathroom. Outside there is a patio garden and the swimming pool area with sun loungers and outdoor lighting.
On the ground floor, the large triple aspect Sitting Room has views over St Ives Bay, two and three seater settees, a small wicker sofa and matching armchairs, and a 50″ wall-mounted TV. Large patio doors lead to a balcony with patio table and chairs overlooking the swimming pool.
The Dining Room is panelled throughout and provides seating for 8 to dine together.
The Kitchen is a double aspect room with views out to Godrevy Lighthouse and St Ives Bay and a large bay window with breakfast table and four chairs overlooking the patio. It has modern fitted cupboards and worktops, electric hob, built-in double electric oven, full size built-in fridge, full size built-in dishwasher, large microwave/oven, and a comprehensive range of crockery, cutlery and cookware including a liquidiser, ovenware and pans. There is also a large Utility Room with washing machine, small chest freezer, sink with cold water tap and door to the garden on the lower ground floor.
On the lower ground floor, a short corridor leads to the Garden Bedroom with shower room ensuite, a 5ft bed, sofa, wardrobe and large flat screen TV. A connecting door leads to the Pool Room with shower room ensuite, 3 ft bunk beds, easy chairs, a chest of drawers, a 32″ wall-mounted flat screen TV and a double-glazed door leading out to the pool area.
Within the thick granite walls of the original 19th Century lodge and with solid oak floors, the first floor contains the Victorian Bedroom with a decorative original fireplace, a 5ft bed with Victorian bedhead, Edwardian tallboy and matching wardrobe, blanket chest, side tables, rugs and ornate overmantle mirror. There is also a Twin Bedroom which has bespoke twin 3ft beds with deep sprung mattresses, a fine Art Deco wardobe, side table and mirror. The Family Bathroom is also located on this floor and is fully tiled with enamel bath, built-in vanity unit and over-bath shower.
The heated swimming pool is available from 26th May to 29th September inclusive. It has views over St Ives Bay, chairs, tables and loungers and the submersed pool lighting and surrounding lamps give an appealing view from the sitting room. Pool heating is subject to an optional extra charge of £200 per week. The pool is serviced weekly by our contractor.
The garden is landscaped, on three levels accessed via steps, and is largely to the side of the property with sea views. There is an upper patio area above the pool with sea views, table and chairs and some landscaping.
A footpath runs down the side of Treloyhan Lodge to Hain Walk, part of the South West Coast Path and it is just a few minutes walk from Treloyhan Lodge to Porthminster Beach, one of the finest beaches in St Ives, perfect for families with excellent cafes. The centre of St Ives is also only a short walk away.
Treloyhan Lodge has a no smoking policy for all internal rooms and unfortunately dogs cannot be accepted.
All bed linen (100% cotton) and towels are provided. All beds and pillows have quilted protectors and bedding is duvets throughout with lightweight quilted bedspreads to all beds except bunk beds. There are also spare blankets if required.
Bookings are available for weeks beginning on Saturdays. To allow adequate time for cleaning guests cannot arrive until 4pm on the day of arrival and must leave by 10 am on the day of departure.
A non returnable deposit of 25% of total price should be made by bank transfer to book. The balance is payable in full 8 weeks before the start of the holiday unless the holiday starts within 8 weeks in which case full payment is required at the time of booking.
In addition a deposit of £150 is required with the holiday payment which will be returned within 14 days of the end of the holiday after deductions for any lost keys or damage.
