Set in large and secluded mature gardens, Trebears is a very spacious, three-bedroom detached house at Porthcothan within five miles of Padstow and a short walk to Porthcothan Bay and the coastal path.

Architect-designed, Trebears was rebuilt as an eco-home in 2013 for the current owners, so it’s a perfect holiday retreat for the whole family, including children and the elderly.

Accommodation Details

The house has level access throughout the ground floor to a stunning open-plan living room/dining/kitchen area and all facilities including the patio. The three bedrooms are upstairs.

Free Wifi access to internet. Off road parking for up to 3 vehicles.

Available on request: travel cot, high chair, stair gate and fire guard.

PLEASE NOTE: Duvets and pillows supplied; hirer to provide own sheets, pillow cases, duvet covers and towels.

Around Porthcothan

A short track leads from Trebears to dramatic National Trust coastal scenery within 3 minutes’ walk and a beautiful sandy beach only 8 minutes’ walk away. Golden sands, sand dunes and rock pools provide endless relaxation and fun for all ages, with excellent swimming, surfing and fishing. Essential provisions available from the local village store in the bay.

There are walks in both directions along the coast path with spectacular views, wild flowers and seabirds.

The area also offers many other beautiful beaches nearby. Golfing, pony trekking and sea fishing are all within easy reach. Trebears is located 5 miles from the historic fishing port of Padstow and 9 miles from Newquay.
