Situated centrally on the ground floor is the additional family shower room. This has a wonderfully refreshing power shower which is perfect for those “straight off the beach moments” and to cool off after a sauna.

This utility room has a 7kg washing machine and 7kg tumble dryer, ideal for laundering for larger families. No matter the weather. It also has a sink with mixer tap. This room also has direct access to the garage area which has an additional 6ft fridge/freezer and hanging rails for wet suits.
First Floor
The principle living accomodation is located on the first floor to take advantage of the spectacular views across Porthcothan Bay through the French doors and Juliette Balcony.

This is a very spacious sitting room with French doors and a Juliette Balcony, giving guests fantastic views across Porthcothan Bay to watch those perfect sunsets and let in the Atlantic Sea air.
The sitting room suite comprises two large sofas and a comfortable armchair with the emphasis being on design, style and comfort.
Our guest can cosy-up by the beautiful log fire while enjoying Sky TV or DVD movies on the flat screen TV.

2 Twin Room both (En-suite)
The second floor in Bay House has two en-suite twin bedrooms. Each has plenty of storage.
Each of the 2nd floor twin rooms is fully carpeted with a fresh, coastal-inspired decor. A sumptuous mattress, good quality linens and fluffy towels ensure our guests’ total comfort. Hairdryers provided.
Both en-suite bathrooms are fully tiled and comprise a 3 piece bathroom set. Each bathroom has a deep bath, pedestal basin and WC.They also have a mixer tap shower head & shower screen which can be used as a stand alone shower or in combination while using the bath.
Porthcothan Bay is a hidden gem of the North Cornish coastline. It’s enviable position sits directly on the South West Coastal Path with views over unspoiled National Trust headlands as far as the eye can see.
Located between Padstow and Newquay, delights such as Bedruthan Steps and Trevose Lighthouse are easily reached from the house by car, foot or public transport.
This stretch of the North Cornish Coastline is one of the most beautiful and dramatic in the country- no wonder the BBC choose to film Poldark on our beach and headlands here in Porthcothan!
