About Mevagissey
Porthole Cottage is conveniently located a mere 250 metre level walk from the historic harbour, around which the several pubs, restaurants and numerous ice cream/souvenir shops are located. “Sunny Corner” carpark is just 25 metres from the front door and the long stay Willows car and coach park is only 4 minutes’ walk away.

Mevagissey is very much a traditional Cornish fishing village, the largest in St. Austell Bay. The streets of this unspoilt town are a delightful twisting hodge-podge of whitewashed buildings lining narrow passageways.
