We have updated this property over the years to provide a spacious, traditional, fun holiday home, fully equipped for up to 5 people. This lovely sunny retreat is situated on the edge of a very well maintained family site set among grass covered sand dunes.
Its added appeal is its seclusion – you are not overlooked from any aspect (except by the seagulls), yet it is just a 5 minute walk to an amazing 3 mile stretch of sandy beaches.
This coastal retreat is one of a very few remaining 1930’s original wooden chalets left in the country, sympathetically restored with everything you need for a memorable holiday.
Hawkes Point View is situated in a secluded spot in the Towans, surrounded by exotic plants, herbs and colourful fragrant flowers (feel free to use any of the herbs!). The chalet affords beautiful views of St Ives Bay, Hayle estuary and surrounding countryside – as one visitor wrote “A view to die for.”
Hayle is situated just 4 miles from St Ives with its many fine restaurants, shops and the renowned Tate gallery. There is a fab scenic ‘Park and Ride’ train journey to St Ives which travels alongside the coastal path (the train can be seen from the chalet) which all ages can enjoy. There is so much to do and see in Cornwall for everyone – Museums, Art galleries, the amazing Eden Project, surfing, golf, cycling and walking the beautiful coastal path. For the less energetic amongst us, Hayle beach stretches for 3 miles up to Gwithian for a traditional family bucket-and-spade type of holiday!
